So the special screening of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been attended by who’s who of Bollywood. And the film is receiving praises from all the celebs who have attended the preview. As per reports, one thing that has been constant among those who have watched is the fact that all of them are gushing over Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Yes, irrespective of her role, reportedly, being not more than twenty minutes. She herself mentioned in an interview that it’s Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s film, but, viewers and audience think the otherwise.
Not Anushka Sharma, but it’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who’s bowled everyone over with her portrayal of Sabaa. The lead actress Anushka Sharma is mere prop in front of her, despite the length of her role being more than her. It’s Aishwarya’s character that stays with the viewers even after the film is over. This can truly be termed as true blue comeback of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the big screen.
In fact, since the teasers and trailers of the film were released, it was Ranbir and Aishwarya’s hot chemistry that was the talking point of every promotions. And the rest of the limelight was hogged by Fawad Khan. No one seemed to care about the presence of Anushka Sharma. And now after the screening of the film, it’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s seductive yet effective portrayal that is making the waves and stays with you. As they say, quality is always better than quantity. Sorry Anushka Sharma, but it was obvious that no one’s gonna stand a chance when there is powerhouse performer Aishwarya Rai Bachchan present in your cast. And it is understandable, as even in the trailer Anushka is seen in that done to death character she portrays in almost every other film she has done. On the other hand Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing a character she has never played on screen and she is bringing something new to her role and to the film.
