Akshay Kumar 's 'Jolly LLB 2' is in its second week now. The satire based on the Indian legal system collected Rs 2 crore (nett) on its second Tuesday (Day 12), taking its total to Rs 92.75 crore (nett), according to a report on boxofficeindia.com.

The film's producers too released their box-office figures, which quote that the film has already crossed the 100-crore mark as it collected Rs 2.45 crore on Tuesday, taking the total to Rs 100.37 crore.
The makers held a press conference on Wednesday to mark the success of the film. At the event, the makers even confirmed that a sequel to the courtroom drama is in the pipeline, thus taking the 'Jolly LLB' franchise forward.

'Jolly LLB 2' is the sequel to the 2013 film 'Jolly LLB' which had Arshad Warsi in the lead role. Huma Qureshi plays the leading lady opposite Akshay in the latest installment, which has Saurabh Shukla as the judge and Annu Kapoor in the role of the rival lawyer.

Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday denied staying summons issued by a trial court in a defamation case against the team of Bollywood movie 'Jolly LLB 2', including its actors Akshay Kumar and Annu Kapoor, director Subhash Kapoor and producers. Justice Mukta Gupta, refusing to stay summons, issued notice to the Delhi Police and sought its response by March 30. Read fill news here .
