Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt's Dear Zindagi teaches us that one should "Always Recycle"
Another teaser or rather Take 2 of Dear Zindagi is here. Just like the first one, this teaser too has a slice of life feel to it. The teaser introduced us to the character of Shah Rukh Khan, named Jahangir Khan aka Jag and Alia Bhatt as Kiara aka well…Kiara. The teaser talked about recycling things. As they say when things are beyond repair you recycle them. The teaser also, in a lighter manner, showcased the bad jokes Alia Bhatt cracks and that worries SRK. Also, what can be seen is Alia’s life, where she can be seen as a filmmaker. The film looks quite refreshing and the teasers are creating the right kind of hype. And it’s a welcome change for Shah Rukh Khan to be seen in a slice of life film after almost 22 years. The last time he did a film, that looked as refreshing as Dear Zindagi was way back in 1994 Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. The promotions of Dear Zindagi has been quite interesting as well, instead of going for a full blown trailer, makers are going with short snippets. Also before the “takes” the lead actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt were involved in Twitter conversations a la Dear Zindagi.
Those Twitter conversations, which started with pics then videos and later the official first look posters of the film. And, now that we’ve learned two life lessons from Jag through Kiara, we can’t wait to watch the full trailer of the film, as the film also stars Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor among others. Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film is slated to release on November 25, 2016.
