With his previous films like Roy, Bombay Velvet and Tamasha not doing very well at the box office, Ranbir Kapoor’s Bollywood career has hit an all time low. Although he is a phenomenal actor and there is no denying that, box office success and critical acclaim also matters equally. He is one of those very few versatile actors who has never shied away from experimenting with his looks and characters he has played onscreen. Right in the beginning of his Bollywood career, Ranbir chose to do a film like Rocket Singh which fetched him average numbers. It was a risk to take up a project like that for him at the initial stages of his career but he took it up and let us admit it, he performed pretty well. He is charming and has got it all that takes women to go bonkers over him; which is clearly why he’s got such a huge female fan following. But lately, Ranbir’s fans have been a little upset with his choice of films and want him to choose scripts wisely. RK is at a very crucial stage in his career. He just cannot afford to do another flop film. (Also read: Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil BEATS Salman Khan’s Sultan to have the costliest ticket ever)

From the movie posters to the teaser and the songs; everything about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been much hyped. Ranbir and Aishwarya’s onscreen chemistry to top it all, is the most enticing! This is the umpteenth time that we are saying that they look DAMN hot together.. Seeing them onscreen only makes us question why didn’t any filmmaker think of casting them opposite each other before!
Coming back to Ranbir, ADHM is an important film for him as long as box office numbers are concerned. Now that’s a huge statement to make until the film releases but all eyes are now on Ranbir. And of course Ash too, considering that her last movies Sarabjit and Jazbaa didn’t make much noise at the box office. ADHM is going to decide her and Ranbir’s fate as far as numbers are concerned. The film will be releasing with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay on October 28.
